Derivco Orlando is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Manager to be part of our dynamic team.


Are you an experienced Software Engineering Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? Derivco, a leading software development company, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team in Orlando.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely for part of the week, with 3 days in-office to collaborate with our innovative team.

This is a people management role.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines

Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies

Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a managerial role

Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
