Job-Specific Details
The School of Health Sciences at Liberty University's Allied Health Professions Department is seeking applications for an adjunct position in Respiratory to commence on August 15, 2024.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver residential, undergraduate courses within the Allied Health Professions Department.
- Present approved curriculum content in adherence to the provided schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, supporting and upholding LU's mission.
- Offer timely feedback and assessments to students via various communication channels.
- Provide guidance to students regarding academic queries, attendance, and conduct.
- Record and communicate student grades and attendance according to university policies.
- Engage in student outreach efforts to enhance retention and provide necessary support.
- Perform additional tasks as delegated.
- Adhere to the stipulations highlighted in the Faculty Handbook.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirement: Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a relevant field.
- Possess a reputable academic and/or professional background.
- Demonstrate a readiness to grasp new systems and processes.
- Proficient in utilizing Outlook, Microsoft Suite, and navigating various technologies.
- Prior experience in teaching exercise science is advantageous but not compulsory.
- Display a genuine enthusiasm for guiding and supporting students.
- Dedicated to Liberty University's evangelical principles and mission.
