Job Description

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
    • Licenses/Certification: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
    • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients to perform job functions

Principal Accountabilities

  • Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients following radiation safety procedures
  • Enters and monitors patient data
  • Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment
  • Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions
  • Takes emergency calls within the department and may work weekends or at different locations
  • May assist with patient registration tasks

Ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies and procedures within budget specifications

Promotes professional growth through mandatory education and skills competency requirements

Demonstrates commitment to compassion and personalized care for our community
