Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer 4

Shift Hours: 9 AM- 5 PM

Job Duration: Long-term Contract on W2 (Onsite)

Location: Milpitas, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, prototyping, and testing of innovative broad band plasma (BBP) Wafer inspection opto-mechanical assemblies
  • Engage in collaborative development projects with key suppliers
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of existing broad band plasma (BBP) product lines in conjunction with the manufacturing division
  • Collaborate with system, optical, electrical, and software engineers to define subsystem requirements and lead design reviews
  • Focus on precision mechanism development including actuator selection, tolerance analysis, optics mounting, alignment & adjustment design, among others
  • Validate and implement the mechanism designs and offer support for onsite manufacturing processes
Skills & Experience:
  • 7~10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in CAE with a focus on thermal & structural simulation (experience with ANSYS is desirable)
  • Experience in CAD Modeling, preferably with Creo/ProEngineer
