Pay:
$22.95 per hour

Employment Logistics:
OnTrac Hostlers are responsible for safely positioning and maneuvering trailers to and from the dock. This position works closely with the yard team and Operations Management. If you enjoy driving and have any experience towing anything, this position might be right for you

The Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or oneyear related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
  • Minimum 1year driving experience
  • Must successfully complete all preemployment screenings and background checks
  • Must be at least 18 years old, possess a clean driving record, valid identification and be able to pass a TSA screening
  • Must be able to provide a 5year to 10year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Your Mission in Motion:

  • Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment as outlined in the Company Safety Program
  • Properly pretrip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards
  • Correctly position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor
  • Switching trailers as needed during the daily sort; hook up sets of trailers for line hauls leaving the facility
  • Clearly communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management
