We're excited about the future As an industry leader, ADESA is poised for a multi-year expansion including huge investments in facilities, massive sales growth, and an ever-increasing inventory of vehicles We are looking for great people who want to take this journey with us Get a sneak peek into life at ADESARole and TeamReporting to the Body Shop Manager or the designated manager, the Body Shop Clerk will perform clerical duties to support the Body Shop Office processes for internal and external customers.
ResponsibilitiesAct as a primary contact for Body Shop office inquiries for internal and external customers via phone, email, and in person.
Resolve customer needs in a friendly, courteous manner and advise Management of all serious complaints or incidences. Perform various general clerical duties, maintain files, data, produce reports and correspondence for the supervisor/manager.Post transactions to vehicle accounts according to customer contract requirements, auction procedures and deadlines.
Process accounting functions for the Body Shop:
validate supply/parts billing, customer invoices and receivables. Review estimates, identify and order parts considering cost and delivery options. Maintain parts inventory and distribute parts to Body Shop Technicians within Body Shop and auction storage areas.
Communicate with internal teams within the shop, auction office, and corporate contacts to process customer work order approvals, status updates, and other vehicle information.
Ensure all shop area conditions are not a potential threat to employee or customer safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee or customer accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Physical Working Conditions:
This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
