The Department of Biological Sciences within the Mellon College of Science is seeking one-year full-time Research Associate(s) to perform research in the department labs

Responsibilities will include:

  • Perform research experiments following protocols and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed research records and files.
  • Oversee general laboratory maintenance.
  • Summarize statistical information for analysis and presentation.

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Prior experience with molecular biological methods
  • Some working knowledge of genome browsers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong problem solving and reasoning skills
  • Ability to pay strict attention to protocol preparation.
