NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Consumer Loan Fulfillment.

The Manager of Indirect Post Closing is responsible for the timely processing and funding of all indirect loan products, including but not limited to automobiles, powersports, motorcycles and marine products.

In addition, collaborating with other associates to resolve dealer issues.

Ensures the quality of loan funding packages by maintaining awareness of federal and state regulations as well as company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Leads the Indirect Post Closing team in achieving goals through coaching, development and training.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of progressive processing/lending operations experience, with a least 2 years of management or leadership experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Successful experience directing the work of others, training co-workers, taking escalated/complex questions, or operating in a leadership capacity to meet and exceed business objectives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lending/compliance regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to use independent judgement and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Creates development and training plan as well as on-boarding, continuing education, development plans, recognition, corrective action, and reviews of Indirect Post Closing Coordinator staff.
  • Conducts regular one on one meetings, team meetings, coaching/development plan sessions and performance evaluations in a timely manner with appropriate follow-up documentation.
  • Works with the Sr Manager, Consumer Loan Fulfillment to set goals and objectives in the areas of decisioning, quality, service, process improvement, technology, and operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external customers and to ensure information is processed with data integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy. Reviews metrics (Key Performance Indicator's and Service Level Agreement's) and procedure implementing changes when necessary to maximize efficiency and performance.
  • Serves as a reference and information source, keeping the department leaders informed about possible problems or needs of the department.
  • Monitors the pipeline and incoming volumes to ensure all work is delivered within service level expectations while ensuring compliance and regulatory standards are being adhered to.
  • Reviews processes to reduce document errors.
  • Provides feedback to IT on any program updates or changes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
