Job Title: Manager Production

  • Liaise between venue and artist, ensuring all production requirements are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with talent buyer and artist to design tour schedules, craft offers, and establish show budgets.
  • Coordinate closely with the venue to address all show needs and ensure smooth operations.
  • Resolve any production challenges that may arise during the event.
  • Build and nurture relationships with artists, tour crew, management teams, venues, and key stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and successful show execution.
  • Create and manage show budgets, tracking expenses to align with financial targets.
  • Supervise load-in and load-out processes for artists and vendors, managing production crew activities such as liaising with local labor suppliers, organizing crew schedules, and overseeing payroll.
  • Handle post-show settlements to ensure timely payments to artists and venues, and complete all necessary documentation for accounting purposes.
  • Coordinate local labor hiring, equipment rentals, and other show-related requirements.
  • Take charge of production management and logistics for various venues, locations, or projects as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in a related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven track record in interpreting event contracts and developing precise production budgets.
  • Preferred background in the music industry.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the technical aspects of concert production.
  • Ability to troubleshoot logistical and technical challenges, including staging, lighting, and sound.
  • Expertise in budget creation and management for events.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn new business systems as needed.
  • Previous experience in management, particularly in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to excel under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
