Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to the preschool program, setting and implementing the overall educational direction in alignment with state standards and best practices.
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the center, including scheduling, and facility management.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, communicating regularly about their child's progress and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Collaborate with teachers to design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, conducting regular assessments and evaluations to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Texas Director's Credential or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles, pedagogy, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
