Join our team as a Support Teacher at Primrose School of Cooper City

Are you passionate about helping young minds discover and understand the world around them? We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Support Teachers to be part of our team. At Primrose School of Cooper City, we aim to promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child through our Balanced Learning approach.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing a group of children
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding the health and safety of children
  • Supporting classroom teachers with lesson plans and daily schedules
  • Maintaining an inviting classroom environment
  • Providing positive reinforcement and setting clear expectations for behavior
  • Handling housekeeping duties and maintaining a professional appearance
  • Assisting in various tasks as needed

Desired skills and experience:

  • Meeting requirements of local child care regulatory agency
  • Previous experience in a licensed early childhood program
  • Understanding the needs of young children
  • Capability to lift up to 35 lbs. and handle emergency situations
  • Completion of Child Care Training (40 hours) is a plus
