How you will help:

  • Perform a variety of nondestructive tests, such as liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual examination, on various products and materials and interpret results to verify integrity of materials and welds.
  • Perform periodic maintenance functions on NDT equipment including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, replacing parts and reassembly of equipment.
  • Maintain personal work area, as well as nondestructive examination area, in a safe, neat, clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection on all purchased material at receiving to verify compliance with purchase order requirements. Review vendors supplied documentation for accuracy and compliance with the purchase order and applicable codes. Prepare documentation as to acceptance or rejection.
  • Prior to release to inventory or manufacturing, all material is identified and coded and all appropriate reports and documentation completed and/or logged, as required.
  • Perform inprocess/first piece inspections on manufacturing floor to verify compliance of items to applicable manufacturing drawings, fabrication specifications, quality procedures and quality assurance manuals. Verify that correct material is being used and all documentation is in order.
  • Perform final inspections on all material fabricated by Anvil personnel prior to being placed in inventory or shipped verifying all of the foregoing is within compliances.
  • Monitor all production operations at various stages of production to verify acceptable quality and to insure compliance with all applicable codes, procedures; standards and specifications. Observations are recorded and documented in a surveillance log.
  • Responsible for identifying, segregating, preparing required documents and immediate reporting of all nonconforming materials to appropriate personnel.
  • Record test data and calculate to determine acceptability to Anvil product drawing requirements and specifications.
  • Obtain Engineering approval on deviation from test results. Prepare documentation, identify materials and release to inventory or fabrication.
  • Use cranes, dollies and carts to obtain and return material to and from storage area and move completed job to next operation.
  • Comply with all company rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as directed by QA Manager.

$75,000.00 per year
