SummaryClinical Informatics Coordinator 3 acts as a bridge between the Information Technology Department and Clinical/Business sectors.
Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts and work teams to optimize the functionality of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and other electronic systems supporting JHS clinical and business operations.
Responsibilities- Guide subject matter experts in problem-solving and implementing recommendations.
- Champion standardization and optimization efforts to enhance quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Serve as a knowledge expert on Clinical and/or Business System workflows and design methodologies.
- Collaborate with IT and Clinical/Business System Teams to maximize system adoption and efficiency.
- Conduct workflow analysis with end-users to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Deliver presentations supporting system implementation and optimization.
- Provide training sessions and knowledge transfer to staff.
- Maintain detailed activity reports and serve as an Informatics representative.
Experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with a preference for critical care background.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Professional training in information systems or equivalent education considered.
Skill
- Proficient in analyzing, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professional composure.
- Skilled in using job-specific technology and software applications.
Credentials
Valid licensure or certification required based on job requirements.
Working Conditions
Physical Requirements - Primarily sedentary role with occasional standing or walking. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
