Job DescriptionJob DescriptionExcellent opportunity for an experienced Conduct of Operations (Con Ops) Advisor to work on site in Aiken, SC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 10-20 years of practical experience in Nuclear facility operations and maintenance.
  • Possess and maintain a South Carolina Department of Health, and Environmental Control Physical/Chemical Wastewater Class-A License.
  • Proven experience and expertise in Con Ops process performance improvement in the areas of nuclear facility process operations, radiation controls, and nuclear facility maintenance.
  • Proven experience and expertise in technical writing and the interpretation / use of complex technical documentation.
  • Proven experience and expertise in Leadership Command and Control functions and concepts.
  • Proven experience and expertise in Human Performance error awareness and reduction techniques.
  • Will be required to qualify as a Radiation Worker I.
JOB DUTIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Must have ability to do with no training):

  • Provide oversight and mentoring to Lead Work Group Supervisors, Shift Operations Managers, and Operations Managers with regards to ongoing Liquid Waste operations, tank closure, project activities, and waste solidification activities.

Included but not limited to:

  • Observe, assess, and mentor procedure compliance.
  • Observe, assess, and mentor disciplined operations by all work groups.
  • Observe, assess, and mentor error awareness and error reduction (Human Performance).
  • Observe, assess, and mentor maintenance activities.
  • Provide South Carolina Department of Health, and Environmental Control Physical/Chemical Wastewater Class-A License coverage as required during facility processing and discharges.

Position would be called on to provide shift coverage that works 12.5 hours per shift, days, nights, and weekends.

Benefits begin on the first day of the month following one full month worked on an approved SCA applicable federally funded assignment as a full-time (30 hours or more per week) non-exempt ActOne Government Solutions Federal Service Contract Associate.

Prior to the first day health benefits begin, all employer contributions will be deposited into a 401(k) on the scheduled contribution date.
