As a Groundwork Production Roaster you will be exposed to various facets of coffee roasting operations as you will be responsible for production roasting and routine maintenance of the production roasters, this includes but is not limited to operating the production roaster, correctly adhering to blend recipes and profiles, routine maintenance/cleaning, quality control and some data management.

//groundwork-What you'll do:Roast coffee
Maintain blend formulas and roast profiles
Determine roasting needs
Fluency and understanding of roaster operation and maintenance
Fluency and understanding of Cropster (data logging/inventory reconciliation)
Routine roaster maintenance
Keep a tidy work area/roasting floor
Regular Quality Control of your own work
Notify others when there are discrepancies with roasts, green coffee inventory, or order fulfillment
Abe to operate a forklift
Perform other duties as assigned
What It Takes To Rock This Role:
Coffee Roasting Experience is Preferred
Positive, Friendly, Tenacious Attitude required
Able to bend, twist, lift, stoop and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Stand comfortably for 8 hours a day.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Able to deal skillfully and promptly to new situations
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Open to changes; learns quickly when facing new/unfamiliar tasks or challenges
Coffee Industry experience a plus
