This is an opportune moment to become a part of TAG's team during a period of rapid growth and contribute to establishing crucial accounting processes. TAG is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager with expertise in acquisitions, NWC, and OBS review.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5-7 years of experience in public accounting and be capable of guiding the company through its annual audit.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the role of the Technical Accounting Manager is integral to The Arcticom Group's accounting team.

The preferred candidate should be a self-motivated initiator and leader keen on advancing swiftly in their career, aiding the expansion of a growing organization, with the ultimate goal of assuming greater responsibilities.


Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the annual audit.
  • Prepare annual consolidated GAAP financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, equity statement, and cash flow statement with accompanying notes.
  • Establish and oversee internal audit processes.
  • Research US GAAP standards and offer technical accounting guidance.
  • Develop and maintain technical accounting memos and white papers.
  • Oversee the adoption of new accounting standards.
  • Collaborate across business functions to ensure timely resolution of accounting and financial issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Effective decision-making skills, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA license.
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
  • Public Accounting/audit background.
  • Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics is a bonus.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP.
