Position Overview:
This position requires a Licensed Practical Nurse to work under the guidance of a registered nurse, implementing care plans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Document observations and care administered following company protocols.
- Provide basic nursing care to rehab patients and support acutely ill patients based on their specific needs.
- Handle patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, observing symptoms and reporting them accurately.
- Offer physical and emotional patient support under RN supervision.
- Attend to patient's dietary and fluid requirements, including feeding, IV fluids monitoring, and vital sign recording.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed LPN in Florida.
- Preferably have 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- IV certification is mandatory.
- Hold a current hands-on BLS certification.
