About the Position
This role calls for a qualified Anesthesia Technician who will play a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective anesthesia care. Working closely with anesthesia providers, the Technician will be responsible for preparing and maintaining essential medical devices and anesthesia systems. Operating and maintaining complex equipment during medical procedures will be a key aspect of this role.
Job Title: Anesthesia Technician
- Support anesthesia care providers during various medical procedures
- Assist in patient transportation and monitoring
- Maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare guidelines
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Anesthesia Tech training program
- Washington State MA-R certification
- ACLS/PALS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited program
- Current ASATT certification a plus
- Prior experience in similar role preferred
Working Environment
- Physical demands vary from frequent to occasional
- Requires knowledge of anesthesia procedures and safety measures
- Understanding of healthcare equipment and supplies
Physical Exposures
- Hazards may include mechanical, heat, cold, and hazardous substances
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases and radiation
