Human Resources Business Partner

With close to 4,000 team members across our health system, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play an integral role as part of our team of talented HR professionals.
The HR Business Partner provides generalist/consultative support to our team members and leaders with policy development, implementation and application, employee relations, performance management coaching, unemployment claim administration, investigations and employee engagement/retention activities and interventions.
Our HRBP's are assigned a portfolio of departments where they are the primary HR resource and work collaboratively with other functional areas of the HR Division such as benefits and compensation teams.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.This role does require at least 5 years of generalist experience with a focus on high volume employee relations as well as demonstrated knowledge of current federal, state and local employment laws/regulations.
PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.We are looking for a proven track record of:
- Technical expertise, initiative and a focus on excellence.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and the ability to serve as a change agent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the documented ability to establish rapport, build relationships, and serve as a trusted adviser.
- Personal credibility and the ability to serve as both an employee advocate and a consultant to management.
- Creative problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address business needs and influence outcomes.
- A high level of analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to develop, analyze and apply key business metrics.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
