We are in search of a dedicated professional for the position of Mainframe Project Manager to join the esteemed Technology Services Group.

Key responsibilities to drive impact:

  • Lead the initiation, planning, and execution of mainframe project deliverables with a focus on robust leadership and profound mainframe technology expertise.
  • Regularly update project statuses, promote team synergy, conduct efficient meetings, and create polished documentation.
  • Engage in Mainframe BoW project oversight tasks such as project status evaluations, change management assistance, and mandatory training.
  • Utilize standard desktop productivity applications (MS-Office, Teams, Project, etc.) and designated BNY Mellon platforms for AIOps and Project Tracking.

Desired qualifications for success:

  • Hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent for a minimum of 15 years.
  • Demonstrate 15-20 years of hands-on experience in overseeing IBM System z Mainframe infrastructure projects.
  • Preferably possess 5-10 years of experience managing IBM Mainframe Modernization projects involving API Enablement/Microservices.
  • Showcase expert proficiency in enterprise project tracking tools like MS-Project, Jira, PPM, and ServiceNow.
  • Exhibit exceptional organization, discipline, and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple high-priority initiatives with minimal supervision.
