As a Software Quality Assurance Manager atRF

We're looking for someone who can help our team growconfidently by evaluating and identifying demands of future roadmap and product delivery needs against resources, capacityand velocity of the QA team, as well as facilitatecareer growth for direct reports to help meet that demand andfoster professional development.

You will own the quality softwaredevelopment process and contribute directly to the culture ofquality within RF-SMART through process improvements,departmental outreach, and mentoring.

As part of our growth, you will take on, hire,and directly manage a cross-functional team of QA engineers focused on product, web, desktop, mobile, server, andintegration testing across manual and automated testing suites.

You will also help securecross-department resources, manage trade-offs for delivery, keep stakeholders accountable, meet deadlines, communicate at theexecutive level on project status and risk, and measure teamimpact and needs.

This team is a hybrid team with both in-office and fully remote, full-time team members potentially around the world. This position will report to the AVP of Product Engineering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Hireand develop our team of QA Engineers across industries and disciplines.
Setand report on measurable goals and objectives for the team.
Setweekly and monthly priorities for the QA team andindividual team members.
Withfeedback from the team, leadership, and external stakeholders,own the quality process, procedures and decision supportfor product testing and automation.
Evaluate,recommend, and implement tools to help facilitateteam success.
Providea point of authoritative knowledge to helpaddress technical oradministrative hurdles the team may encounter.
Facilitateand encourage collaboration through team meetings or othercommunication channels as necessary, as well as conductteam building activities.
Reporton team progress, status, and roadblocks to management from thequality assurance lens.
Advocatefor and on behalf of the QA team and the constructionand delivery of RF-SMART's product, processes, and organization.
Conductone-on-one meetings with direct reports to work on issues,provide and receive feedback and discuss individualprofessional development goals and opportunities.
Performannual or semi-annual performance reviews when required.
Activelyparticipate in backlog grooming, planning, and deliveryactivities.
Define and track software quality metrics.
Identify gaps in the quality assurance and testing processes, generate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
Support the long-term career development of your direct reports; helping them build their skills in software testing and automation.
