Production Machine Operator

Description:

Position available at New Pig Corporation Manufacturing for a highly motivated self-starter to work as a Mat Line Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift. This role involves ensuring top-notch product quality for our customers at our Tipton location.

  • Days of Operation – 5 days per week plus overtime as necessary
  • Mat Operation – Handling equipment, loading rolls, executing changeovers, and more
  • Quality Standards – Adapting processes to meet quality criteria
  • Quality Inspection – Conducting quality checks and gathering necessary data
  • Production Reporting – Inputting production quantities and material usage details into Syteline
  • Participating in mat line process enhancement and lean manufacturing activities
  • Completing assigned production-related tasks
  • Adhering to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality protocols

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
  • Ability to obtain certification for independent operation within 4 months of hiring
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including email, data entry, and system usage
  • Mathematical aptitude for unit conversions and basic measurements
  • Capability for physical tasks such as lifting and maneuvering objects
  • Meeting product standards and quality system requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to assigned tasks
  • Readiness for continuous improvement and sharing valuable input

$17.00/hr + $1/hr shift differential. Weekly paychecks with overtime options. Monday to Friday schedule.
