For our office in Hannover, we are currently looking for a full-time or part-time Financial Accountant and Assistant to the General Management at Pullman

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the main point of contact for banks, insurance companies, and tax authorities, as well as our other offices, for administrative and financial matters within the team "Central Services" which consists of Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing/Communication.
  • Supporting the General Management of Pullman with central tasks and projects.
  • Managing bookkeeping and reporting, including accounts payable and receivable, bank transactions, and asset management.
  • Handling payment transactions and cash flow planning.
  • Reconciling and clarifying accounts.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and balance sheets.
  • Filing VAT returns.
  • Assisting with invoice, tax, and operational audits.
  • Performing general administrative tasks in daytoday business operations.

In addition, you will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting the General Management with the implementation of central projects, particularly in business process design.
  • Managing membership administration.
  • Organizing board meetings and general assemblies, including preparing meeting materials and taking minutes.
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Completed commercial training in finance or accounting, or as a tax specialist.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, especially VAT.
  • Basic knowledge of HGB accounting principles.
