The Director of Talent Development plays a crucial role in shaping Safelite's development strategies to nurture our most valuable assets - our employees. Collaborating with various stakeholders, this position focuses on creating innovative and impactful development processes to drive exceptional performance at all levels within the organization. Reporting to the AVP of Talent & Development, the Director oversees a team of two associates.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage enterprise-wide development programs in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Project-manage multiple programs simultaneously using the ADDIE process
  • Strategize and support the evolution of development programs to align with Safelite's business growth
  • Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of talent development programs
  • Lead and manage the development team, including hiring, coaching, and succession planning
  • Keep abreast of talent development trends and technologies
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, learning & development, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in HR, talent management, or leadership development
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Expertise in aligning talent strategies with business goals
  • Strong knowledge of talent management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze talent metrics and propose solutions
  • Proficient in change management in the context of talent initiatives
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and teams effectively
  • Adaptive, open to feedback, and proactive in addressing challenges
  • Thrives in complex and ambiguous situations, driving innovation and change
  • Motivated by challenges, results-oriented, and resourceful
  • Values diversity and values collaboration for achieving success
