Responsibilities:
Driving improvement in a segment of the business in the area of continuous improvement and quality.

Responsible for the output of a successful Continuous improvement program is a reduced operating cost base, improved capability while the output of a successful quality program is increased satisfaction levels in the customer base.

Cascades targets to plants within the Business Unit and uses key methodologies required to deliver the annual cost savings targets and uses Operational Excellence methodology to deliver improvements in customer facing metrics, while reducing risk to Alkegen.

Focuses on the improvement of internal processes to deliver improved customer satisfaction, reduced risk while engaging teams in the BU to operate with a zero defect and zero loss cultural mindset by the development of a lean capability in the sites.

Ensures that the end to end supply chain is controlled and internal and outsourced activities minimize risk to Alkegen.

Ensures that plants become and stay in compliance with regulatory requirements (eg ISO9001 / IATF16949) applicable to the business unit.

QualificationsBS Degree in engineering related discipline.

Prior experience in manufacturing quality, process development (5-10 years).High level understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Process Capability, Root Cause Analysis, G8D, DFMEA,PFEMA, MSA, ControlSignificant prior experience in quality engineering / assurance with exposure to ISO9001 standards,ideally IATF16949 standards and AIAG core tools and VDA standardsExcellent people, communication, team building and organizational skills essentialProficient in Adaptive Coaching skills of listening, asking and responding.

Proficiency in Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office SuiteCompetenciesIn addition, to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
