Duties
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assist system/business owners in developing security plans and authorization documents, ensuring compliance with Federal requirements.
- Coordinate and enforce IT security policies, procedures, standards, and guidance across the organization to maintain and enhance the security posture of IT systems.
- Collaborate with enterprise-wide stakeholders to ensure comprehensive security for IT systems, networks, and assets, fostering a unified approach to cybersecurity.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of security programs, and design principles focused on vulnerability, detection, and authentication.
- Administer compliance oversight for systems cybersecurity policies, guidelines, and procedures, encompassing web-based applications, networks, and system lifecycle design.
- Provide expert guidance and support in implementing advanced security requirements and programs, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, to ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Engage with leadership across various levels of the organization, exercising significant responsibilities to align IT security efforts with the strategic goals of the Division, Office, Bureau, and Department.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Basic requirements:Minimum qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following tasks. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
