JOB SUMMARY

Are you ready to showcase your culinary skills and lead a team of cooks in a dynamic kitchen environment? If you have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the food service industry, we want you on board. As a Cook II, you will play a key role in preparing a variety of delicious dishes, supervising production staff, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet our standards.


  • Prepares a variety of foods: meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food items
  • Supervises and coordinates work of subordinate cooks and production staff
  • Plans for the efficient use of ingredients
  • Ensures adherence to recipes and proper food handling techniques
  • Reviews menu items and production plans
  • Adheres to food safety and storage guidelines
  • Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Participates in inventory management
  • Assists in catering and special events
  • Maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
  • Performs other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the food service industry
  • Skilled in various cooking methods, supervision, and kitchen operations
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Read and write with basic math skills
  • ServSafe certification preferred


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Moderate to heavy lifting, constant standing, bending, and exposure to various conditions


QUALITIES:

  • Take initiative and prioritize tasks
  • Operate within deadlines and problem-solve creatively
