Job Description Geologist Mineral Drilling and Exploration Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently building a geological exploration team for mineral identification and discovery here in the United States.

This is a direct hire, fully benefited, dedicated engagement for investigation of potential find locations nationally.

Our client, one of the worlds most innovative international mining, exploration, and processing organizations, has tasked us to assemble a project team of two Geologists to serve under their Geological Exploration Manager to conduct drilling and sample/data collection activities.

This is currently the highest-profile effort of its like underway in the United States.

These exploration efforts are the result of several confidential project areas in the United States that were previously identified and investigated indicating a significant potential for high-value deposits.

Based on this, an exploration team is being assembled to undertake air-core drilling, sample collection, and data activities starting in early 2020 at the optioned locations.

. Additional targets are flowing from regional programs that will need to be drill tested deeper into years ahead.

For reasons of safety, confidentiality, and technical management requirements this level of work demands dedicated internal company supervision and direction of field personnel and contractors.

Hence, we are immediately seeking two very capable and technically proficient geologists to join the team.

These geologists, under the direction of the exploration manager, will:
Function as a Site Supervisor; managing all drilling and sampling activities. Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to, with a specific focus on EHS and other technical activities. Engage and work closely with the land access personnel to ensure drilling is undertaken in keeping with agreed conditions. Help plan and execute the logistics function of all field programs. Assist corporate geological staff with desktop reviews, recces, and other generative activities. The position requires a BS in Geology, Earth Sciences or other related degree. Key to this effort will be extensive field management of drilling programs.

Ideally, 5 years of experience with outdoor project work and abilities to utilize GPS and other appropriate software for reporting and communication.

Beyond competitive salary, all travel expenses are covered with field stipend provided while traveling for project efforts.
