Job Description:


The Material Handler is responsible for performing material handling functions to support all internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Minimum of 6 months of experience driving Sit-down Forklift (Propane)

o Loads and unloads trucks, verifies load lists, and moves materials and items to storage, production, service, office, or other designated areas.

o Responsible for loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
o Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
o Performing cycle counts and inventory management.
o Stack / load pallets and transport material by operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g., forklift)
o Inspecting in-bound/out-bound material for damage and proper documentation.
o Notifies manager or coworkers of shortages, discrepancies, or anticipated needs.
o Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies
o Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule and accurately follows instructions.
o Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
o Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the propane sitdown forklift.
  • Must Be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor work environment.
  • Must be prepared to work with packaged/nonpackaged expired food products.
