Forklift Operator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Randstad. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to pick and stage stock
  • Use an RF scanner to track inventory
  • General knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling
  • Sort and place materials on racks
  • Good attendance and ability to work overtime and weekends

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test
  • Experience with cherry pickers and reach trucks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Experience with RF scanners and hand trucks

Work Environment:

Our warehouse is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will be working with a team to meet production goals. You will be required to wear closed-toe shoes and follow all safety protocols.
