Job Description

In the role of a Financial Planning Analyst at our company, you will play a key part in guiding departments through the development of headcount and spending plans for Budget, Forecast, and Planning Round periods. You will be responsible for providing monthly reporting on spend and headcount Actuals, Forecast, Budget Capacity, Productivity, and Optimization opportunities. Additionally, you will approve spend requests following Finance Policy approval processes and existing Budget/Forecast capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy ideas to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Create monthly Forecasts and annual Budget/Planning Round headcount and fixed/direct costs. Collaborate with various teams to optimize resources in alignment with strategy and capacity.
  • Analyze variances, ensure on-target performance, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Represent Finance in reviewing spend authorization requests and present financial data to executives.
  • Manage year-end accrual processes and undertake ad-hoc financial analyses.
About the Company
  • Contribute to HQ-level presentations.
  • Review and process monthly VWGoA inter-company invoices.
  • Generate management reports on key performance indicators.

Experience

6-8 years of finance or accounting experience including accounting, data analytics, budgeting, and consulting. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
