Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse, your duties will include patient assessments, care planning, treatment implementation, and care evaluation. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

  • Develop and adjust patient care plans based on treatment responses
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs
  • Administer medications, provide pre- and post-operative care, and offer patient education
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as necessary
  • Facilitate discharge planning and ensure care continuity

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred

Education:

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

License and Certifications:

Current State of Texas RN license or Compact RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and ACLS certification is a plus
