job summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Customer Payments to join our team in Washington, DC. This role demands a strategic leader with a robust understanding of Agile methodologies and exceptional project management skills. The ideal candidate will effectively lead and facilitate Agile practices, resolve project impediments, and communicate seamlessly with all stakeholders to drive projects to successful completion.

responsibilities:

  • Agile Expertise:
    • Educate and train teams on Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Scrum Facilitation:
    • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Communication:
    • Engage effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Identify and resolve issues and impediments impacting team progress.
  • Technical Insight:
    • Understand the technology and tools used by the development team.
  • Project Management Tools:
    • Utilize Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Asana.
  • Change Management:
    • Apply change management principles and practices.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Customer Payments Experience:
    • Leverage experience with customer payments to address project-specific challenges and requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role with a focus on Agile methodologies.

  • strong leadership skills and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with customer payment systems and processes is an advantage.
