About the Job:
  • Support the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift spacecraft capable of transporting people and payloads to various orbits.
  • Utilize your technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaborative mindset to enhance the safety of human space travel.
  • Manage risk, issue, and opportunity processes, working closely with engineering and program management teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the risk database, lead risk review boards, and coach team members through the risk management process.
  • Focus on enhancing metrics and reporting systems to provide insights into the risk management process.

Qualifications:
  • B.S./M.S. degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Experience in aerospace product life cycle and risk management is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to quality.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
3+ years of direct Risk Management experience.
Experience with aerospace vehicles or engines.
Knowledge of Primavera (P6), Doors Next Gen, CREO, Windchill, and Microsoft Suite.
