BluePearl is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled ER/ICU Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join their team in Downtown Seattle.
*Bonus opportunity for qualified candidate $2,500
Schedule: Wednesday - Friday 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
LVT Pay: $ - $ / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system .
We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.
*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
For example:
Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $ Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $ Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $ Shift DifferentialWe have full-time openings that require night and weekend availability. Our Emergency Room Veterinary Technicians are responsible for the care and treatment of unstable/critically ill patients, triaging emergency patients, and monitoring hospitalized pets.
Qualifications:
Current certification/license in veterinary technology. Experience working in a veterinary practice (emergency experience a plus).Why our Downtown Seattle location?

Our facility is more than 12,000-square-ft and has an open layout, which encourages teamwork between our doctors and staff in the best interest of our patients. The latest diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities offered at our location downtown include digital radiography, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) scanning, endoscopy, a dedicated ER/ICU area, and a full-service, in-house laboratory.
At Seattle Veterinary Specialists, we have a highly qualified team that delivers veterinary care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in emergency/critical care, internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, radiology, diagnostic imaging, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. We have access to blood bank services and there is a compounding pharmacy directly above the hospital, making access to medications easy for our clients. Our team at Seattle Veterinary Specialists believes in collaborative medicine between all departments to provide patients comprehensive care.

The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
