This position earns a competitive wage of $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience. A full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as long-term disability for full-time employees. Technical abilities and skills:

  • The ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and to communicate to build relationships with colleagues and clients is required.
  • The ability to deliver exceptional client and patient services.
  • Induction, management, and recovery of anesthesia
  • Knowledge of Fear Free techniques, and Fear Free certification is preferred. Access to certification will be provided if not already possessed.
  • Knowledge of common medications, and filling medications
  • Proficient in dental radiography and cone-beam CT (VetCat IQ) is preferred. If not possessed, training will be provided.
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Instrument and equipment sterilization and maintenance
  • Experience with CubeX is advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Two or more years of experience in the veterinary field performing the above duties. (Required)
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with the ability to become licensed in Washington State (Required)
  • Able to perform moderately physically demanding work that requires a lot of lifting (up to 50 pounds), cleaning, and constant motion.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
