Position: Standby Driver at Bloomington Public Schools

  • Ability to drive any route, anytime, in any bus as directed by Dispatch
  • Able to read maps and follow driving directions accurately
  • Punctuality for all assigned duties
  • Provide excellent service to students, parents, school staff, and more
  • Act as a positive role model and resource for colleagues
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Compliance with transportation rules and policies
  • Communication of performance issues to Management Staff
  • Assist mechanics during inclement weather
  • Previous experience working with children preferred
  • Minimum one year of driving experience

Requirements:
Ability to obtain CDL Class B driver's license with passenger and school bus endorsements and current school bus physical
