Role:


To maintain the cleanliness and physical appearance of the property in order to assist the rental staff in achieving the overall occupancy goals and assist in resident retention by providing a quality living environment for the residents.


These duties and responsibilities often include:

Responsibilities:

  • General interior/exterior cleaning of buildings and common areas
  • Clean model and vacant apartments, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairways, community room, resident fitness area, etc.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
  • Wash windows, walls, and woodwork waxing and polishing as necessary
  • Dust window blinds
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming floor finishes
  • Collect trash, transport, and empty it into the designated receptacle
  • Utilize a variety of cleaning tools and equipment such as mops, pails, vacuum cleaners, and push carts.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk or sit alternately depending on specific needs of the day
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as needed

Qualifications:

  • Dependable, reliable, and follows through on commitments by performing assigned tasks in a professional, orderly and timely manner
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and professional demeanor interacting with building management, tenants, and vendors
  • Positive, "cando" attitude, professionalism, and a high level of enthusiasm
