School Based Services (SBS) provides comprehensive behavioral services for youth and their families through a collaboration with the school district.

The idea is to provide youth help to address behavioral and mental health concerns and bring together the family and the school in how best to address and support the youth.


We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals who desire to help young people reach their mental health and wellness goals.

School-Based Care Coordinators at Touchstone offer a unique way to support youth in the behavioral health system.

Care Coordinators provide general care coordination duties, help to identify mental health needs and objectives, and put resources in place to reach these goals.

They coordinate closely with the youth's family, school, and clinical team to provide effective wraparound approaches.

Care Coordinators also provide psychoeducational skill-building sessions to youth using a variety of evidence-based or evidence-informed approaches to aid in emotional regulation, mindfulness, communication, relationship, and general life skills.

Touchstone is a supportive, trauma informed, and empowering organization that has supported youth and families for over 50 years.

School Based Services believes in a team approach to behavioral health and creates supportive partnerships to manage the care of the youth.

Touchstone partners with individuals, families, schools and other service providers to deliver the optimal continuum of health, education and social services, with an emphasis on services that support individuals and families to acquire the skills to live productive and responsible lives.

Touchstone focuses on evidence-based programs or best practice approaches to help youth and their families find strategies to reach their behavioral health goals.

Touchstone believes in approaching members through a trauma informed lens with an emphasis on building resilience and creating sustainability for youth to maintain their successful outcomes of treatment.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age

This position requires a High School Diploma and at least four (4) years' experience providing behavioral health services; or an acceptable and equivalent combination of education and experience

Must meet Agency requirements for Behavioral Health Technician.

Must possess a valid AZ Driver's License

Must possess an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card or be eligible for one
