We are currently looking for a talented Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center or client office setting. In this role, you will be the friendly face of the company, delivering top-notch customer service and expertly collecting specimens. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday schedule which varies between 7:30am - 5pm, with rotating Saturdays from 7:30am-12pm at the Prince George PSC.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for various tests like drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
  • Accurately enter patient information into the system.
  • Handle billing information and process payments.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen logs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks.
  • Be willing to travel to different sites when required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably certified in Phlebotomy from an accredited agency.
  • Prior experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Demonstrated ability in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently or in a team.
  • Comfortable with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if necessary.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
