GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:


As a Manufacturing and Automation Engineer I at RMB, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operation of automated production equipment. This position demands mechanical expertise and the ability to work within an ISO 8 cleanroom environment, collaborating closely with fellow engineers to drive productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities include conducting characterization studies, analyzing data, refining designs, as well as installing and validating new equipment and documenting processes to uphold quality standards. Occasional off-shift or weekend work may be required to ensure continuous production support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead projects to enhance productivity and uptime of production equipment.
  • Conduct studies to characterize process parameters.
  • Monitor performance data to preemptively address production issues.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements leveraging industry best practices.
  • Train operators/technicians and maintain manufacturing process documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

The following qualifications are required:

  • Higher education in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
The successful candidate should possess:

  • Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication abilities across different organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles and practices.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Experience in equipment and process validation in regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and manufacturing concepts like Value Stream mapping.
  • Experience with automated or robotic equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This is an in-person role, not remote.
  • Proficiency in English language required.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to gowning procedures.
  • Flexibility for occasional off-shift or weekend work.
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus for extended periods.
