A Cell Packer will rotate through all our manual packing cells and all base unit add and remove stations.
Manual packing requirements will vary by shift based on demand; therefore, a Cell Packer may not always rotate through all/any manual packing cells.
Your responsibilities will includeAdd or attach components to base units according to the Bill of Materials. Components may include cords, plumbing items, trim shells, grommets, packing components, etc.
Ensure all components are located properly in the carton to ensure proper closure
Operators are expected to rotate through various positions throughout each process
Place finished units onto a skid in a prescribed pattern
Support stocking needs as required
Use bill of materials to ensure product conformity
Manage the loading and unloading of base units at each add and remove station
Conduct rework as required

Preferred skills and experiences
High school diploma or equivalent required
On the job training time of 4-6 months
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with whole numbers and decimals
Ability to read and understand Bills of Material, work instructions, inspection cycles, and other job related material
