About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at API Heat Transfer. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Production Manager to achieve established goals for customer on-time delivery, quality, and labor costs.
  • Model and Encourage a Safety First Mindset while achieving departmental and total manufacturing objectives.
  • Train and Coach Associates on a continual basis to provide performance feedback and develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with HR to elevate overall team capabilities, develop plans for performance challenges, and improve employee engagement.
  • Ensure Quality Standards are met within the department and take appropriate action to improve as required.
  • Work with Other Supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Provide Regular Communication to TTP leaders on day-to-day operations, as well as be a conduit between management and team members.
  • Maintain Employee Timekeeping and time off requests through ADP WorkforceNow.
  • Participate in Interviewing all roles on the production team.
  • Actively Participate in Process Improvement efforts.
Requirements
  • High School/G.E.D and at least 5 years of supervisory or lead experience of 5+ team members in an assembly line manufacturing environment.
  • Proven Ability to Achieve Daily Production Goals.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, six-sigma or other continuous improvement tools.
  • Working Knowledge of MRP and/or ERP Systems.
  • Ability to Handle Physical Requirements of a manufacturing environment, including standing or prolonged periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Highly Desired Experience with Heat Exchanger Manufacturing.
