Job Overview:
Cardiology/Internal medicine private practice seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be supervisoring treadmill testing with patients, following EKG tracing as they exercise. You will utilize your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment. Experience with testing a must. EHR knowledge in the Epic system a plus.

  • Duties:
  • Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and proper technique
  • Provide guidance and support to patients during their exercise routines, maintain accurate records of patient progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • Experience in conducting patient assessments, including vital sign measurements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to exercise physiology
