Job Summary:We are seeking individuals to work hands-on in the assembly of injection molded plastic parts for automotive interior trim, center consoles, and other components. This role involves providing technical support and leadership to manufacturing production teams to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Participate in new product launches by collaborating with product development teams and manufacturing leaders to ensure design and quality standards.
- Develop standardized work processes, machine specifications, and assembly cell layouts.
- Collaborate with packaging engineers to create safe packaging solutions for transportation.
- Support manufacturing production with assembly machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Implement process improvement projects and conduct audits to ensure quality compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in automotive manufacturing. Proficiency in Omron PLC programming, machine shop skills, and knowledge of welding processes and secondary decoration techniques are required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Skills and Abilities:Preferred experience in SolidWorks, VisMockup, robot programming, and cognitive ability test. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Travel Requirements:This position does not typically involve travel.
