Position: Data Governance Technology Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA

Overview:

This role is within the Digital Data Strategy group and focuses on addressing data governance gaps, particularly around data technology tools. The candidate will assist in implementing a new data quality tool and transitioning current dashboards to this tool, collaborating closely with business teams.

Project Duration:

The contract is funded until the end of the fiscal year (February 28, 2025), with the intention of converting the role to a permanent position, based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of the data quality tool (DQ Labs) and the transition of existing dashboards to the new tool.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and ensure successful tool integration.
  • Address data governance gaps and enhance data quality processes.
  • Work closely with the Digital Data Strategy team and contribute to the delivery of business needs.
  • Support the Data Governance Technology team in various functions and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with data quality tools (experience with DQ Labs is a plus, but not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of data governance and data technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in data governance, data management, or related roles is preferred.
