The brand new Cloudland Resort on Lookout Mountain is hiring experienced banquet servers to join our team as we welcome new groups, including many weddings and specialty meetings$$$ We offer full or part time positions and a fabulous view while you work


This new luxury hotel sits within the McLemore resort atop Lookout Mountain, Georgia and offers incredible mountain vistas and stunning views of McLemore Cove.

The hotel is just minutes from Chattanooga, TN and a short drive from Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham and Huntsville.

The Cloudland offers 245 luxurious and spacious guest rooms, multiple dining options, full-service spa, resort style pool and over 12,000 sq ft of indoor event space and a variety of outdoor venue options.

In addition to hotel amenities, guests will enjoy two world-class golf courses, hiking trails, a par 3 short course and stunning mountain/top clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop.


POSITION PROFILE:
Interact with guests and ensure guests have a great experience when dining and meeting at the property. Be responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Expected to be attentive to guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed, at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Check server's and house person's BEOs to ensure that all information is accurate.
Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) at the beginning of each shift to ensure room is set as contracted.

Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation methods for each item to be provided.

Be in communication with the Banquet Captain/ Lead Server in regard to any special needs.
Set tables, glassware, flatware and silver ware per dining rules and specification.
Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.
Maintain a proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guest's needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
Assist Lead Banquet Server in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables, stations, and equipment

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High school education or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Six months hotel or convention center -banquet food/beverage services environment

Skills and Abilities:
Able to read, speak and understand English. Able to lift, push, carry lbs. Stand continuously for long periods of time. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.
