Bunzl is in search of a Regional IT Support professional to join our Safety Division team. As a Regional IT Support – Level 2, you will need to deeply understand the system and business processes, being able to translate real-world issues into system-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong business analytical skills, collaborating with business process owners to assess requirements, suggest process enhancements, and configure the ERP solution. You should also be hands-on during the implementation of the business solution, maintaining a high level of understanding of the business, systems, and products. Occasionally, this role may involve working with third-party consulting teams. Previous exposure to ERP systems, accounting software, and MRP is a plus. The role will be based on-site in Fairfield, Ohio.

This individual will act as the primary contact for implementation, post-live procedures, and ongoing maintenance tasks. In the Regional IT Support role, you will offer insights into best practices for optimizing ERP usage, becoming a subject matter expert in maintaining and maximizing its functionalities.

Responsibilities:

Implementation

  • Support the implementation of new business applications and systems
  • Collaborate with various teams to carry out projects and roadmap items
  • Present creative solutions and prototypes for effective reporting and analysis
  • Offer technical expertise in developing implementation and test plans
  • Assist in troubleshooting and systems testing
  • Conduct training sessions for end users
  • Manage relationships between stakeholders
  • Assess risks and develop response strategies
  • Provide guidance throughout the project phases
  • Create requirements for monitoring tools

Daily Support

  • Act as the primary business-facing support contact
  • Lead business interactions for projects
  • Document best practices and standards
  • Provide application training to users
  • Collaborate with business teams on projects and enhancement requests
  • Educate businesses on digital solutions
  • Assist in business process improvement
  • Gather requirements for new solutions
  • Coordinate change management processes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related field
  • Manufacturing/warehouse experience is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems, EDI customer onboarding, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and project management
  • Flexibility to provide support outside of regular hours
  • Willingness to travel as required
