Position Summary

Located in North America's wind belt, Davenport is at the forefront of renewable energy technology and has remained home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late '90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow, Puppy Chow, Alpo, Beneful, Purina ONE, Cat Chow, Friskies, and Kit N Kaboodle brands.

As the Sr. Logistics Coordinator, you will work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment where you will perform all clerical duties directly related to warehouse activity. You will prioritize and manage workload with various tools.

  • Check drivers in and out, while aiding loaders in locating product.
  • Prepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips and various other shipping office paperwork.
  • Coordinate movement of trailers.
  • Assist with the transfer of products between factory and outside storage.
  • Must be available to work back shifts, overtime and weekends.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years logistics and administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military or related environment
This position has a salary range of $41,000 to $57,000. Please note that the salary provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
