At Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, we've got what you're looking for We seek a seasoned cybersecurity professional to serve as a Regional Manager in Dulles, VA.

You'll manage, oversee, and execute our cutting-edge cybersecurity program in alignment with USG regulations, including ICD 503, JSIG, DAAPM, and their supplements.


About the Role


As the Regional Manager, you will be at the forefront of our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring our systems are secure, compliant, and resilient.

You will lead a team of skilled cybersecurity professionals, guiding them in implementing and maintaining security measures that protect our vital information assets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity experts, providing direction and support to ensure the effective execution of security initiatives across Virginia, Maryland, and other locations.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and standards for the region, aligned with enterpriselevel directives and technical objectives
  • Review and modify RMF bodies of evidence, including SSPs, POAMs, SCTMs, SOPs, ConOps, and test plans, ensuring timely approval by designated AOs
  • Oversee A&A, system security configurations, and continuous monitoring activities, enhancing cyber hygiene and mitigating vulnerabilities
  • Lead internal cybersecurity compliance assessments per USG directives and corporate policies, identifying vulnerabilities and developing corrective action plans
  • Monitor cyber incidents and coordinate response activities, including investigation, containment, and resolution
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, PMs, Legal, and senior leaders, to address security requirements and concerns

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
  • 7+ years in cybersecurity, information systems security, or security engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Familiarity with ICD 503, JSIG, DAAPM, and other USG regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating system security features within Windows, Linux, and other platforms
  • DoDM IAM Level III certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire

Desired Skills

  • Experience with system forensic tools and investigation methodologies
  • Expertise with system vulnerability and compliance tools such as SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, Nessus, and Splunk
  • Indepth knowledge of NIST special publications, CNSS policies, and other cybersecurity standards

Education
Baccalaureate degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or Security Engineering. The Regional Manager should possess advanced cybersecurity knowledge obtained through a blend of formal education and practical experience.
